Eusebio Garcia, age 87, of Vienna, VA, passed away on Friday, May 28, 2021. He was the husband of the late Maria Catalina Garcia who predeceased him in 2016.
The family will receive friends at the Cunningham Turch Funeral Home, 811 Cameron Street, Alexandria, VA 22314 on Wednesday, June 2, 2021 from 5:00 until 8:00 PM. Religious service during viewing will be 6:30-7:30PM
Mass of Christian Burial, Thursday 10:30 AM at St. Phillips Catholic Church, 7500 St. Phillips Court, Falls Church, VA 22042. Interment will follow at National Memorial Park, 7400 Lee Highway, Falls Church, VA 22042, where he will be placed with his beloved Maria.
My father, Eusebio Garcia, was a strong, honest, brave, and wise man. Loved by his late wife, daughters, sons-in-law, grandchildren, relatives and every single person who knew him. He dedicated his life to protect, care, and provide to his family. He was a hard worker and took pride of his work.
At a young age back in El Salvador, his native country, was member of the National Guard and took pride in protecting his country. Migrated to the US in the mid 80’s. He worked in motor assemble kits for a couple of years. Later, he worked in the food serving industry which was a humble job but he took pride in his work. He welcomed his grandchildren and loved them and was proud of each of them. They made him feel very happy! Dad, thank you for all your love, care and protection provided to all of us. I love you and you will live in our hearts forever until we meet again.
Eusebio Garcia is survived by his 3 daughters, Judy, Ruth, and Christina, by his 3 sons-in-law, William, Rolando, and Freddy; and by his 5 grandchildren, Iris, Abby, Will, Joshua, and Ivan.
