On April 22, 2014, Eizabeth Betty C. Davis of Alexandria, Virginia died peacefully at home. Beloved wife of the late Frederick Davis; loving mother of Dinah Davis of Alexandria, Virginia and Anthony Davis of Fairfax, Virginia. Devoted grandmother of Michele Gehrig of Arlington, Virginia; Corinne Davis and Evan Davis of Fairfax, Virginia; sister of the late Robert E. Cassell. Also survived by nieces and nephews. A memorial celebration of Betty’s life will be held on May 31, 1014, at 11 a.m. at Mount Vernon Unitarian Church, 1909 Windmill Lane, Alexandria, Virginia 22307. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donation to WETA or Mount Vernon Unitarian Church.
