Edward M. Walter died on Saturday , November 9, 2013 in Fort Belvoir, VA. He is survived by his wife, Anni M. Walter; his niece, Norma Walter; his nephews, Jeff and David Walter and his brother, Jack Walter and his wife Leone. A visitation will be held on Saturday, November 16, 2013 from 4-6 PM at Cunningham Turch Funeral Home, 811 Cameron Street, Alexandria, VA. Interment to follow at Arlington National Cemetery at a later date.

I want to thank you so much for being a loving and caring wife and friend to my Uncle Moe for over 50 years. You have fulfilled your wedding vowels of ““For better or for worse,” “For richer or poorer,” “Until death do us part,”. I will miss him dearly however he is in a wonderful place now. Hey I know for a fact that they play baseball in Heaven. Uncle Moe will have no problem finding a team as some of his former team mates are their waiting for him. Please know that I will always be there for you.
