Donald L. Smith, 79, died October 21, 2018 at Capital Caring in Arlington. He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Gwendolyn Menefee Smith; children, Cassandria, Eddie, and Steven Menefee; granchildren, Dennis, Cedric, Frances Bowden, and Devon Menefee; and his sister, Vivian Caple.
