Commander Donald C. Hannam, US Navy Ret.,age 71, of Alexandria, VA passed away in his home on November 6, 2011. Don is survived by his wife, Karen, sons; Wynn, Darren Renee, Robby Christine, Grandchildren; Jackson, Kyle, Logan, Emmett, Emma, and Charlotte and parents, Anne and Neil Coy. A celebration of Don’s life will be held on Thursday, November 10, 2011 at St. John’s United Methodist Church, 5312 Backlick RD Springfield, VA at 4 PM with the interment to be held at Arlington National Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Don’s memory to your charity of choice or Capital Caring Hospice, 4715 15th Street North Arlington, VA 22205.
