David Gordon, 64 of Lorton VA passed away at his home surrounded by his loving family on Saturday November 29, 2014. He was born in 1949 to the late Abraham and Gertha Lee Gordon. David enjoyed working in the yard and his garden. He had a true passion for fishing. He is survived by his loving wife of 29 years, Robin Gordon; one daughter, Ashley Gordon; two sons, Christopher Gordon and Ansthonio Anderson; two sisters, Bertha Chambers and Elizabeth McRae; five brothers, Johnny Gordon, Theo Gordon, Abraham Gordon Jr., Nathaniel Gordon; and Charles Gordon.Family and friends will be received at Cunningham Turch Funeral Home, 811 Cameron Street, Alexandria VA 22314 on Thursday, December 4, 2014 from 6-8pm. A life celebration service will be held at the funeral home on Friday, December 5, 2014 at 11:00am with Pastor George Scutt officiating. Interment will follow at Mount Comfort Cemetery, Alexandria VA.
