With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Craig Andrew Dufek, 44, of Alexandria, VA. Craig was born on September 14th, 1977 to Paul and Barbara Dufek and passed away at his home on October 31, 2021.

Craig will be sorely missed. He was intelligent, witty, easy on the eyes, and charming. A phenomenal swimmer, Craig held long standing records at Mount Vernon Park that were only recently broken, decades after his athletic peak.

Craig was beloved by all, young and old, human and furry. Craig could troubleshoot an electrical or computer problem with ease and took pride in pursuing his journeyman’s license and starting his own business. Craig was a fervent music lover who found comfort and solace in sharing his favorite lyrics with family and friends. Craig’s juvenile spirit and quick wit were unmatched and irreplaceable.
