Payne, Brenda Morse, 70, of Rockville, Md., went peacefully to the Lord on January 8, 2022. She was predeceased by her parents, Harold and Morse Payne, of Alexandria, Va. She is survived by her brother, Harold Payne, Jr., of Henrico, Va., and his wife, Melanie, and by her nephews Matt, Andy, and Thomas. Brenda graduated from T. C. Williams High School in 1970 and prior to her disability worked for the Alexandria Public Library. She truly enjoyed being around her family. Visitation will be at Cunningham Turch Funeral Home, 811 Cameron St., Alexandria, Va., on Saturday, February 12, 2022 from 10:30 AM until noon. A memorial service at Cunningham Turch will follow at 1 PM, with a brief graveside service at 2 PM at Mt. Comfort Cemetery.

Harold and Melanie,
What wonderful memories we have of your parents and Brenda. The dinners we had at your home on Davis Avenue, the parties and family gatherings. We could always count on Brenda in keeping track of family birthday, dates of events. She had a memory like no other.
So sorry to hear of her passing. She is at peace with our heavenly Father and once again with her Mom and Dad.
