Bernard Oliver Brown Jr “DICKIE” 81 yrs old of Lorton, VA passed away January 4, 2012. Preceded in death by his beloved wife of 56 years, Jean. He is survived by 4 children Pattie Huffman Mike, Richard Brown, Wanda Mills & Mary Brown-Wery Brian, nine Grandchildren Jimmy Mills, Laura Brown, Melanie Bailey Rob, Melissa Conte Mike, Michael Huffman Leslie, Krista Perkins Travis, Kim Mills, Chase Wery and Garison Wery; nine Great-grandchildren. Friends may call at CUNNINGHAM FUNERAL HOME, 811 Cameron St, Alexandria, VA on Sunday, January 8 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 where services will be held on Monday, January 9 at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Dickie’s favorite charity St. Jude’s Childrens Hospital.

I’m sorry for your loss.
Grandad was a great person with a wonderful personality whom was always had jokes. It is hard to believe he was just up talking and had a great sense of humor 2 days before he went to be with mamaw. He is now back with the love of his life and no longer suffering. RIP grandad we love and miss you.Tell mamaw the same.
