Barbara Barrett, 71, of Alexandria, died October 29, 2018 at INOVA Mt Vernon Hospital. She is preceded in death by her husband, Carlos E. Barrett.  She is survived by her sisters, Linda Keene and Janet Baker; nephews and nieces, Michael Surface, Greg Baker, Kathy Mayo, Kenneth and Pamela Burnley.

The family will receive friends 9am to 11am, Tuesday, November 6, 2018 at Cunningham Turch Funeral Home, 811 Cameron St. Alex. VA 22314.  A Life Celebration service will follow at 11am at the funeral home.  Interment is at 12:30pm at Mount Comfort Cemetery, Alex. VA.
