On January 29, 2013 at her home in Alexandria, VA. She was preceded in death by her son, William J. Villavaso and grandson, Robert D. Kenard. She is survived by her daughter, Orisade Awodola; her son, Anthony David Villavaso; her grandchildren, Dinitia Harris and Donyeta Madden-Villavaso; and her sister, Aramenta Johnson. She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren. A vigil will be held for her on Monday, February 4, 2013 at 6 p.m. at Cunningham Turch Funeral Home, 811 Cameron Street, Alexandria, VA. A visitation will be held on Friday, February 8, 2013 from 10 to 11 a.m. at St. Thomas Catholic Church, 5472 S. Kimbark Street, Chicago, IL, where a Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 11 a.m. Interment to follow at Lincoln Cemetery.
