I had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Owen while I was having dinner at a neighorhood restaurant with a friend a few years ago. He struck up a conversation with us. He had such a kind and uplifting spirit. The visit with him made our evening. After that, he always greeted me warmly when I saw him out and about in the neighborhood. I am so sorry to hear of his passing. The world needs more people like him.
