Andrew Knox grew up in Virginia Beach Virginia where he was a star in football in highschool and went in to join the Military Army Branch where he served from 1968 to 1978. In between time he met his wife Marie Knox, who he had two children with Tony L. Knox and Angela M. Knox. Tony Knox preceded him in death on October 26, 2015.
