Amy died at her residence at Evergreene Meadows in Stanardsville, VA on Monday, June 4, 2007 after a 5-year struggle with Alzheimer’s disease. Beloved wife of Stanley T. Young, Sr.; devoted mother of Stanley T. Young, Jr. She is also survived by her grandson, Brian E. Young; daughter-in-law, Diane W. Young; sister-in-law, Ruby Young, and a host of other relatives and friends. A visitation will be held on Thursday, June 7, 2007 from 5-8 PM at Cunningham Funeral Home, 811 Cameron Street, Alexandria, VA where funeral services will be held on Friday at 11 AM. Interment to follow at Mount Comfort Cemetery in Alexandria, VA. A memorial service will be held at a later date at Evergreene Meadows in Stanardsville for those not able to attend services in Alexandria, VA.
